BOOK A HUMAN TRAFFICKING TRAINING

LCHT’s in-person and virtual trainings help community members and professionals identify and support survivors of human trafficking.

Do you know how to identify if someone is being exploited for sex or labor? Do you know the resources that are available to support survivors of human trafficking? Do you know how this issue connects to your professional work or personal connections?

LCHT’s trainings are tailored to the needs of a variety of audiences and the settings across Colorado. They are evidence-based, non-sensational, and full of resources for you to plug into the local anti-trafficking movement. We can help you to identify potential trafficking situations and respond in a way that is compassionate and appropriate.

CURRENT TRAINING PRIORITIES

  • Healthcare

We facilitate trainings to nurses, doctors, and healthcare leaders to identify and support victims of human trafficking who present in their setting.

  • Child Welfare

We deliver trainings for child welfare professionals, child placement agencies, foster care families, court appointed special advocates (CASAs), and more.

  • Victim Service Providers

We deliver sector-specific trainings to professionals working in issues that intersect with our work like homelessness, immigration and law enforcement. All trainings are modified to address the intersection of human trafficking with the receiving agency’s work and the geographical area where they work.
