Meet the Moment with us this Colorado Gives Day!

Join us on December 8th for Meet the Moment, an evening of community, connection, and action in support of Colorado’s anti-trafficking movement.

As human trafficking and exploitation command greater public attention, this moment calls for more than awareness. Together, we’ll turn attention into action and raise critical funds to strengthen Colorado’s response to trafficking.

The evening will feature:

  • A keynote from survivor-researcher Rhonelle Bruder, on the power each of us holds to meet this moment
  • Live music by Dogtags, a Denver art-soul band
  • A delicious meal by Serendipity Catering—along with beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks
  • Door prizes and a silent auction!

Event FAQs

What is "Meet the Moment"?

Meet the Moment is LCHT’s 2026 year-end giving campaign, inviting our community to turn increased awareness of human trafficking into meaningful action.

For more than 20 years, we’ve worked to build a safer state, LCHT has worked alongside survivors, communities, and partners to understand trafficking, strengthen responses, and address the conditions that allow exploitation to persist.

This year, we’re working to raise $300,000 to sustain that work across Colorado—from answering calls and texts through our 24/7 hotline and training professionals to recognize exploitation, to developing emerging leaders and producing research that informs stronger solutions.

The attention may be new. The work is not. And your support helps meet the moment.

What does this event support?

This year’s Meet the Moment event is about the gaps that let exploitation continue, the systems meant to protect people that too often fall short, and the power each of us holds to change them. Trafficking isn’t only about individuals. It’s enabled by systems, and systems can be changed.

On December 8th, you help turn attention into action and power the work that closes the gaps.

Why should I attend?

If you want to be part of ending human trafficking in Colorado, this is the moment to show up. Exploitation counts on people looking away and on the gaps in our systems. Change starts when communities pay attention and do something about it.

That’s where you come in. Join us on December 8th to stand with a movement that’s challenging the conditions exploitation relies on, and to see how your support helps shift power back to the people and communities long denied it.

Even better? Every gift you make at the event will be doubled thanks to a $50,000 challenge match from the PB and K Family Foundation.

⚠️ Content Advisory: This program discusses sensitive topics related to human trafficking and is recommended for ages 13+
