BASIC FUNCTION
Reporting to the Hotline and Advocacy Manager, the Program Coordinator will be LCHT’s primary point of contact for developing relationships with and supporting volunteers who greatly contribute to our programs: interns and hotline advocates. This individual will coordinate our Leadership Development Program intern cohorts (three sessions per year). This individual will also be responsible for management of volunteer advocates for Colorado’s Human Trafficking Hotline. Approximately 50% of the role will be dedicated to the Leadership Development Program and 50% to the Hotline and Resource Directory Program.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership Development Program
- Recruit, interview and select participants for the Leadership Development Program
- Ensure completion of all evaluations (internal and academic), maintain current and develop new relationships with college and university internship coordinators
- Coordinate and foster alumni connections and feedback loops through intentional events, programs and networks
- Expand recruitment efforts to include Leadership Development participants with a variety of identities and lived experiences
- Coordinate delivery of Leadership Development Curriculum, facilitate weekly cohort meeting/debrief and provide individual supervision to interns
Hotline and Resource Directory Program
- Recruit, interview, select, supervise and retain volunteer advocates for Colorado’s Human Trafficking Hotline
- Coordinate and facilitate quarterly continuing education meetings including content development and recruitment of guest presenters; work closely with Hotline and Advocacy Manager to facilitate biannual training of volunteer advocates
- Explore opportunities for increased community, support and pathways for advocates
- Provide 24/7 emergency backup on-call support on a rotational basis
Overall Program Support
- Contribute to communication materials that articulate both programs’ purpose and accomplishments with impact
- Deliver introductory trainings/presentations on human trafficking
- Support overall operations of the organization (i.e., admin, financials, communications, development, etc.)

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION SOUGHT
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required; will consider alternative education pathways or equivalent experience, skills, and competency
- Demonstrated experience or interest in human rights issues, adult learning, direct service, crisis work, or volunteer management
- Bilingual, Spanish speaking candidate a plus, but not required
LOCATION/HOURS
Denver, CO. Full-time position, 40 hours/week. Flexible work hours, including some weekend and evening hours. Position requires 24/7 emergency backup on-call availability on a rotational basis.
EXPECTED COMPENSATION
$43,000 + Medical (100% premium paid by LCHT), dental and vision insurance (75% premium paid by LCHT) + paid time off
