LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

Become a human rights leader in your community.

It’s so much more than an internship. Our Leadership Development Program invests in your success and prepares you for a future of working on human trafficking and other human rights issues.

You will be a critical part of our team and gain experience in areas such as advocacy, awareness building, organizational leadership, volunteer management, fundraising, and research.

How LCHT Internships Work

This program is for you if you want to learn how to become a sustainable leader in anti-trafficking work or a parallel movement.
Participants complete a minimum of 150 hours in one of three sessions: Spring (February-April), Summer (June-August), or Fall (September-November). Yearlong internships may be considered in some cases.
We encourage academic and non-academic applicants in all career and life stages. There is no requirement for academic credit.
Leadership Development Program internships are unpaid, but needs-based scholarships are available!
