Mission statement

Our mission is to shelter and help empower survivors of domestic violence to become safe, secure, and self-reliant, and to mobilize our community through education and collaboration to prevent domestic violence.

Brief description of services provided

AWP is the only domestic violence safehouse in Weld County. We help survivors from all areas of Colorado as well as a national level. We offer 24/7 emergency shelter, safety planning, legal and housing advocacy and referrals, as well as community education and trainings related to domestic violence.
