The Don’t Look Back Center is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Founded in 2018, as a center to keep women and transwomen with substance use disorders, Trauma, and PTSD out of the criminal justice system, DLBC now offers a comprehensive scope of services, and serves a specialized underserved population of women and transwomen. Mission Statement: To engage in co-creative community work with women and transwomen to build new pathways to the higher quality lives they seek to build for themselves. DLBC has a demonstrated history of working with the POF. DLBC provides SUD treatment and prevention services, trauma services, along with care management and supportive housing to adult females and transwomen. Clinical treatment staff is supervised in the use of evidence-based models. DLBC has participated in program evaluation, and training, consultation, and substance treatment services.
