SPAN is a human rights organization committed to ending violence against adults, youth and children through support, advocacy, education and community organizing.
Brief description of services provided
SPAN services include 24/7 crisis/information line; emergency shelter for adult and child survivors; counseling support (English & Spanish); legal advocacy and court accompaniment; transitional housing and rental assistance; economic empowerment programs; school and community-based violence prevention education. SPAN provides population-specific programs for older survivors, LGBTQ/QTBIPOC survivors, immigrant and/or Spanish-speaking survivors. SPAN programs are available to survivors of intimate partner abuse as well as survivors of trafficking.
