Mission statement

To provide support and alternatives to survivors of domestic violence and their families while striving to strengthen our community through education and prevention outreach.

Brief description of services provided

We offer free and confidential services, a 24-hour hotline staffed by volunteers, bilingual weekly support groups for women and children, court advocacy in criminal court, legal assistance for divorce and child-custody cases through our Bridges of Hope legal project, and education and outreach to the community as well.

Good to know (internal only)

Criminal court services as well as Bridge Hope Civil legal services are available to survivors of DV in La Plata and San Juan Counties whose perpetrators have been arrested and are in the criminal justice system.

Staff are mandatory reporters

Crisis Hotline program includes walk in availability

Programs serve marginalized communities in the area including Latinx and tribal services and support BIPOC+ survivors through outreach and advocacy.
